During orientation, you will meet the International Center staff, receive information about UCSD and local community resources, learn about your SEVIS rights and responsibilities, and meet other new international students. This orientation is different from the one offered by the UCSD undergraduate colleges or academic departments. PLEASE ARRIVE PROMPTLY and allow enough time for parking. Late comers will be asked to attend another session. Please bring your passport, I-94 and I-20/DS-2019 (including dependents if applicable). You will be asked for these documents when checking in to the orientation.
Schedule
Students will learn about SEVIS rights and responsibilities, recent information about UC San Diego and local community resources, take a campus tour, get student ID cards and meet the staff at the International Center.

Parking
Parking is strictly enforced. The small parking lot adjacent to the International Center is not intended for visitors' use. The Gilman Parking Structure has metered parking and is located just south of the International Center on Gilman Drive or visit a UCSD Visitor Center to purchase an all-day parking permit.
